My door where the batteries are does not lock. The left lock and the key lock do not grab. Only the right side grabs and is the only thing keeping the door shut. Camper is level.

RVIA seal removal ?
Hi
Is there any downside to removing the RVIA seal next to the entry door on a trailer? For example it would void my warrenty etc. the reason I ask is I was waxing my trailer and thought it would be a cleaner look without it.
thanks for your time
Eric

Black tank sag and popping sounds - thoughts?
Scenario: in an effort to clear the black tank sensors that always displays 2/3 full, I did a 4x full tank flush. A lot of residual stuff came out, mostly paper. But, my major concern was some major popping sounds and the underneath sag. I realized that the black tank appears to be laid in across the coach from frame rail to frame rail. This is in a 36 foot Big Country 3155RLK. Any idea what might have been going on? No fasteners were popped through the underseal.

Deadbolt issue
Hi all.
I have a 2013 North Trail and am having a new issue with the deadbolt. Upon inserting the key, I can spin the lock over and over with the bolt not engaging. This has happened both with unlocking and locking the bolt.
It has usually engaged and gone be gone back to working order for a time or two then goes back to spinning.
The red red latch on the inside works fine and is not effected by the spinning lock. Assuming I need to get a new lock, and can always lock the deadbolt from the inside and use the other entrance, but would appreciate any pro-tips if theyre out there.

Counter space
The reason I purchased the Traveler 39MB was because a lot of the mid bunk units have the doors to the bunk room entering from the kitchen area, and the 39 MB had it from the hall area. The latter units lacked ample storage and I felt that more storage for the kitchen is required if more people will be in the trailer. The one Issue is that if more people are going to be in the trailer more counter space is needed as well to prepare meals.
I wish that Heartland had put a counter on the same wall as the pantry. Upper and lower with a counter top would be a huge improvement.

Loose connection
Is it normal to find loose connections on s new camper? I was trying to figure out my my heat was not coming on (turns out I forgot to turn on propane) and found a nut on the 12V mini breaker almost off. Not sure how any of my 12V stuff was working. In the picture it is the left breaker top connection. (not sure why picture is sideways)

Hitch Weights
Why are the Big Country hitch weights so much more than the Bighorns? Seems odd to me. Only thing I can think of would be materials used for each model.

Struts for under bed storage
Our gas struts that are supposed to help lift the bed to access the storage underneath keeps pulling the screws out of the bottom of the bed support platform. It's made of Particle board material and I've reattached the brackets like 3 times already and trying to find a better solution. Has anyone made modifications to the platform to secure the screws better? Should I replace that particle board with some good plywood sheet?

RV King Bedding-Best Products With Links
Greetings!
I am looking for the best options for bedding for our Heartland BigHorn 3890 SS. Two companies that are out for us include Beddy’s which supplies a wonderful product but unfortunately will not fit our RV King (72” x 80”) and RVSuperBag because the owner, Dennis was very rude to me on the telephone today when I was trying to get information to place an order (Which surprised me because I had already purchased a queen product from him about a year ago) so I don’t care to put my money in a business that treats its repeat customers that way. Other than those two companies, if anyone has any suggestions on good quality RV sheets, comforters or RV sleep systems like the RVSuperBag I would greatly appreciate it. Any links you can provide are always appreciated.

Floor heat vents
I am tired of dealing with the problems floor mounted heat vents cause. I am looking into removing them and reinstalling them in a vertical space, ie; wall, cabinet, anywhere they could be and be fed from under the coach.
Has anyone else done this? If so, please give some advice. Thanks in advance, Bill

Sewer ports Mallard M28
Am new to RVing and we just took our first trip This past weekend In hooking up the sewage hose Which has two port levers One is for Gray the other is for black I also noticed that there was a second port towards the middle of the trailer also. This has a shut gate on one side. To be safe because I had a hose extension I hooked both up when it came time to dump the tanks liquids came from both does anybody know what that middle one is?

Cold weather and my Sundance
Good afternoon, I plan to take my 2008 Sundance out early this year. I am going out for 3 days this April. Temps are to be below freezing the whole 3 days. I am going to be in an Iowa State Park so no water connections or sewer connections. I will be working off my fresh water tank and holding gray and black water. If I have my furnace running the whole time will I run into issues of freezing up my freshwater and gray and black water tanks? Or do they stay heated with the furnace on? temps are to be 30 during day and 20s during night.

Is it possible to change out some of the Inside blinding WHITE LED lights with blue bulbs?
We are only looking to change out the "bulbs" in our Pioneer 5th wheel PI276. Not rewiring anything, and not replacing the plastic white covers. JUST the bulbs.
The interior WHITE LED lights are not appealing to us at all matter of fact they are too bright. In the interim, I have purchased several warm light flicker battery operated candles that work just fine.
Has anyone done this before? Camping World does not sell them in their store. If anyone knows where I can get them please let me know. It seems new rigs come with some blue interior lights so replacement bulbs must be purchased somewhere, I just do not know where.
Thanks

Bedroom slide
2017 BC 3560SS Bed slide problem. Slides were fully extended. Tried to bring in the small bed only slide(electric), nothing happened. I confirmed the camper had power and tried the slide again. It finally engaged and started to slowly bring the small slide in but stopped. I put it out a small bit and tried bringing it in again and it moved but each side of the bed came in at a different pace and then stopped again. I continued to repeat putting it out a bit and bringing it in until I finally had it fully retracted. I noticed the left side was the last to come in. It seems to off center when extending or retracting. Has anyone experienced this? Recommendations?

RV Newbie here and need some help.
All-
I have recently purchased a 2013 Poineer 25BH and missed some soft spots under the bunks and bathroom during inspection. When i informed the seller of the soft spots 2 days later he pretty much said sorry. So i am left here to fix it. Question: Is the flooring attached to a metal frame or is it wood 2x4's that run across the trailer. Is there a breakdown on how they manufacture these trailers? Thanks1

Lady Bird Johnson RV Park - Fredericksburg Texas Easter 2018
We had a very first outing with our RV and chose somewhere fairly close to home. We stayed Friday and Saturday evening, and all day Sunday at the Lady Bird Johnson RV Park. We could watch little airplanes fly in and out of Fredericksburg because the park is very close to the airport. We went to the river and did some fishing which is also within walking distance. Bathrooms were clean and close, and the trailer was amazing. We will invest in a better mattress for our Heartland North Trail 26LRSS (Caliber), but will probably hold off another couple of weekends to see if we adjust.
Our only hiccups: The trailer seems to have a little more "bounce" in it than we would like when being towed. And when we made it home and attempted to park our RV in storage, the power tongue jack would not work. My husband figured out that a fuse had blown, so stole another 40 amp fuse from the fuse box until we were unhitched and leveled out.
My main regret: Why have we waited SO long! :)
